Swatara Township will be hosting their 2nd Annual Senior Resource Fair on April 24th, 2024 from 10am until 1pm at the LCBC Church, located at 4150 Chambers Hill Road Harrisburg, PA. Last year our Senior Resource Fair featured over 65 businesses, organizations and non-profits who specialize in providing resources for senior citizens and care takers. This event brought in hundreds of people from around the Harrisburg area. The Senior Resource Fair is FREE to attend and is open to the general public. Lite refreshments will be available throughout the duration of the fair. There are no direct sales allowed at the fair which allows seniors to speak to different vendors and not feel pressured into purchasing anything. This event is specifically designed to bridge the gap between the services and resources that are available for seniors and care takers with those who offer them throughout the Harrisburg area. Each attendee will receive a free tote bag (while supplies last).
Swatara Township is also looking for vendors and sponsors for the Senior Resource Fair. Vendor registration is FREE and spaces are filled on a first come, first serve basis.
