Police K-9 Chicken BBQ Fundraiser

The Swatara Police Department is teaming up with the Lawnton Legion for a chicken BBQ Fundraiser that is taking place on Saturday September 10th from 11am until 1pm (or until sold out). The pick up location will be in the front parking lot of the Swatara Township Municipal building. Platters can be bought for $10 each and they include 1/2 chicken, baked potato, apple sauce and a roll. You can guarantee your platter by pre-paying OR you can come out on 9/10/22 starting at 11am and pay on site (while supplies last). These platters sold out fast last year so we recommend pre-paying to reserve yours! All proceeds go towards our police department’s K-9 fund which helps with the maintenance of our program. We will also have our police K-9 shirts for sale at the Chicken BBQ ($20). Payments in person can be made by cash OR by check (made payable to the Swatara Township Police Department). Pre-paid tickets for platters are being sold at the Swatara Township Municipal building inside the police department’s lobby and can be bought in person during normal business hours. You can also mail a check to the Swatara Township Police Department with attention to Cpl. Brandon Pokrop and “Chicken BBQ” in the memo section, with a return address.
