Wreaths Across America will happen this Saturday, December 13th at noon. There will be a short ceremony, and the wreaths are then placed at the graves of our veterans at Midland Cemetery.

The Historic Midland Cemetery is located at 206 Kelker Street, Steelton/Swatara Township, 17113. It is directly behind the Steelton Highspire School District.

Please attend to see the many volunteers that will come to help place the wreaths at the veteran’s graves. Our veterans are those who were United States Colored Troops, Buffalo Soldiers, Tuskegee Airmen, WWI, WWII veterans and many others.

The Wreaths will be delivered on Friday, December 12th at 12:30 by Esther, who represent women who drive big rigs (18 wheelers) for the purpose of delivering the veterans wreaths. Due to the size of the truck, they will be delivered to Swatara Township building. You will see her truck covered with the wording of “Wreaths Across America” coming from Maine.
