Snow Emergency Lifted in Swatara Township

Swatara Township, PA — January 27, 2026

Swatara Township officials announce that the Township’s Snow Emergency has been officially lifted as of 8:00 a.m. on January 27, 2026.

With the lifting of the Snow Emergency, parking is once again permitted along all designated Snow Emergency Routes throughout the Township.

Swatara Township extends its appreciation to residents and businesses for their cooperation, patience, and understanding during this weather event. Compliance with Snow Emergency restrictions allowed public works crews and emergency responders to safely and efficiently clear roadways and maintain critical access for emergency services.
