Paxtang Parkway Trail Restoration – Temporary Closures

Restoration work begins January 6, 2026 on the Paxtang Parkway Trail to improve long-term safety and reliability of the trail.

Work Area

• From Market Street Road for approximately 0.4 miles

What’s happening

• Replacement of the culvert under the trail

• Replacement of the Kline Plaza sewer line under the trail

• Pavement cutting and removal as needed

Trail access

• Closures will be limited to active construction areas only

• A posted detour will be in place at both trail entrances for through users

• Please respect all physical barriers and signage during construction
