Milroy Road Closure
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a detour is planned for Milroy Road at the Route 322/Chambers Hill Road Intersection Improvement Project in Swatara Township, Dauphin County.
The detour will be in place to allow the contractor to complete work on Milroy Road and finish the roundabout at the intersection of Milroy and Grayson roads.
Weather permitting, Milroy Road will be closed Monday, March 9, from the Route 322 intersection to the Grayson Road intersection. A detour of up to 180 days will be in place.
To access Milroy Road, westbound Route 322 traffic will continue west to Witmer Drive, turn right and proceed to Grayson Road, turn right and proceed to Milroy Road. To access Hilton Street, eastbound Route 322 traffic should turn right onto Webner Road, left onto Chambers Hill Road then go straight to the signalized intersection with Route 322 and proceed through the intersection to Hilton Street.
Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
This work is part of the reconstruction of the intersection of Route 322 with Grayson Road and Chambers Hill Road in Swatara Township.
