Fireworks at Bishop Park – 1425 Highland Street

The Swatara Township Police Department and Fire Department are teaming up to host a Labor Day Fireworks Celebration event, presented by the Lawnton American Legion Post 998! The Labor Day Fireworks event is taking place at Bishop Park (1425 Highland Street Harrisburg, PA) on Saturday 9/2/23 (rain make up day of 9/4/23). The event will feature several food trucks/stands starting at 6:30pm, which will stay available until 8:30pm (food and drinks will be available for purchase). The fireworks display will start at approximately 9:00pm. Guests will be able to park at Bishop Park OR can park along public roadways and walk to the north field at Bishop Park. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets/lawn chairs. Stay tuned to the police department’s website and Facebook page for additional parking options as we get closer to the event.
