Swatara Township Opening Cooling Station

Due to the excessive heat forecast for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

The Swatara Township EMA will be opening a cooling station at the Swatara Township Municipal Building.

The cooling station will be open from 1pm until 6pm, July 15th, 16th and 17th. This will give folks an opportunity to escape the oppressive heat in a safe, indoor environment.

The Swatara Community room is located on the lower level, Swatara Township Municipal Building, 599 Eisenhower Boulevard. The location has restroom facilities and elevator service.

Snacks and cold drinks will be available.
