Building Construction and Zoning Permit Application Forms

Building permit applications must be submitted to the Township Building and Codes Department.  Building permit application plan reviews and construction inspections are currently being handled by a third-party agency, which is Approved Code Services, Inc. of Mechanicsburg, PA.  Please contact them at 717-506-0464 if you have specific questions related to building design and construction and the PA Uniform Construction Code (PA UCC).  Permits will be issued by the Township upon approval of the Township Building Code Official.  The review time for a residential building permit application is 15 business days.  The review time for a commercial building permit application is 30 business days.  The permit applicant will be notified by a telephone call when the permit is ready to be issued.  The applicant or an authorized agent must come to the Codes Department office to pick up and sign for any and all permits.

Zoning permit applications must be submitted to the Township Building and Codes Department.  Permits will be issued upon approval of the Township Zoning Officer.  Zoning permits may take up to ten (10) business days to be issued.
